• Carly writes this honest, authentic post about the reality of being a parent figuring out the puzzle of special needs parenting. • Kristine shows the value in not always being our kids’ constant playmate. I loved reading her insight and perspective, and if you’re a parent wondering how to balance the tension of engaging with your kids but not being their 24/7 entertainment, read her thoughts here.

 

• Leah’s post touches on mental health, a subject that’s really important to me and one that I want to encourage as many conversations around as possible. My favorite line from her post says “It’s the sacred middle, the pause, where I can be alone with God, alone with some challenges, alone with myself, and not self-destruct.” Go read her reflection on “the sacred middle” — it’s a space we all need to inhabit at different points in our lives.
